Event Highlights:

In 2021, the initial topic of the CNSA Vascular Access Clinical Practice Guidelines addressed patency, occlusion prevention, and management, sparking positive changes across healthcare settings. Now, we're thrilled to unveil the second topic, focusing on device selection and addressing challenging intravenous access for cancer patients.

Meet Our Esteemed Speakers:

1. Kerrie Curtis, RN, Masters Nursing (Cancer/Palliative Care), PhD Candidate: A prominent cancer nurse specializing in vascular access, Kerrie chairs the CNSA Vascular Access Devices & Infusion Therapy Specialist Practice Network.

2. Nicole Gavin, RN, BSc (Hons) Nursing Adult, MAP (Healthcare Research), PhD: With expertise in infection prevention, CVADs, and consumer engagement, Nicole brings a wealth of experience as a haematology and bone marrow transplant nurse.

3. A/Prof Evan Alexandrou, RN, Clinical Associate Professor: Evan coordinates the Central Venous Access Service at Liverpool Hospital and is at the forefront of educating future healthcare professionals.
